Photofinishing
Jiffy Photo & Print offers a full range of photofinishing services. We print photos from wallet size to 44″ x 100′ in your choice of Matte and Glossy finishes.
Our operators are trained to examine each image and adjust it for colour and density (lighten or darken the image). However, if you want to correct your images at home, we can print them at the standard setting with no corrections.
How can you get us your files? There are a number of ways:
• The most convenient and discounted way to place a photo order is to use our Photofinishing Online Ordering Site. There you can upload your file, choose the sizes, quantities and type of photo paper, as well as make adjustments to cropping and optionally apply colour filters.
• Send us an email with the photo attached and a detailed description on what should be done. This method of ordering does not benefit from the discounted rates posted on our online ordering site.
• Order with us in-store using a USB flask drive, portable hard drive, or other memory device. This method of ordering does not benefit from the discounted rates posted on our online ordering site.
Film Processing
Yes we still do film processing! We can develop colour film from 35mm and APS formats. However, we no longer process 120, 110, slide or B&W films.
How long does it take to get film processed? – Film is now sent out for processing intermittently twice per month. Once the finished negatives are returned (typically 2 weeks after the pick-up date), another couple days can be necessary to complete the scanning and printing process. So, depending on when we receive your rolls, turnaround could range from 2 to 4.5 weeks.
Processed film is typically printed as 4×6 photographs and/or sent via online file transfer, but other output options such as 5×7 prints and file sharing via CD or USB memory sticks are also available.
